Specializing in Light Metal Handling

 

Ron Tomlinson is a Metis man who worked in trucking, demolition and scrap metal recycling most of his adult life. 

Mr. Tomlinson incorporated Porta Crush in May, 1994 and has been instrumental in seeing the business grow as increased markets for recycled metals and environmental concerns have been instrumental in establishing Porta Crush.

Porta Crush presently operates three Al-Jon 400 portable metal compacting machines, a Car Logger, and CFC Evacuation equipment.  Our staff has completed the Refrigerant Handling & Certification Course (AR11) from N.A.I.T.   We travel to various landfill sites in Alberta for the subsequent evacuation, crushing/compacting of metal materials. 

The crushed material is then hauled away and sold to metal recycling businesses.

The business operates out of a 4 bay shop and 7 acre yard located in Redwater, Alberta.
